Cubair is a small friendly
flying school specialising in flying training for the Private Pilot
Licence and tailwheel conversion.
For PPL training we offer the option of the latest technology
Katana DA20, the Cessna 172
or if you prefer a tailwheel aircraft, the Piper Super
Cub. Advanced instrument training for the IMC rating is available
using the Katana DA20, the Cessna 172 and the Diamond
Star DA40-180. Tailwheel conversion training is available using the
Piper Super Cub. The Grumman Cougar aircraft is used for our courses of
training for the Multi Engine Piston Rating. Training for the AOPA
Aerobatics Certificate is available using the Slingsby T67M Firefly.
As a small flying school we
offer an individual service that is difficult to find elsewhere. We allow
time to complete proper pre and post flight briefings and for our
instructors to attend to your individual needs. We have a dedicated team
of instructors and our own examiner (authorised by the Civil Aviation
Authority). We are a corporate member of The Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association.
Redhill Aerodrome has full Air Traffic Control and
all modern facilities yet retains the charm of a small grass airfield. It
is easily accessible from the M25/A25/A23 and close to both Nutfield and
Redhill railway stations.
